Spy Kids is a 2001 American spy action comedy film written, edited and directed by Robert Rodriguez, who co-produced the film with Elizabeth Avellán. The film stars Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara, Danny Trejo, Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Alan Cumming, Teri Hatcher, Cheech Marin, Robert Patrick, Tony Shalhoub and Mike Judge.
